    JOB TITLE:Supervisor of Facilities / Housekeeping** **REPORTS TO: Director of Eagle Ridge Conference Center & Resort

     

    DEPARTMENT:Auxiliary – Eagle Ridge Conference Center & Resort

     

    EXEMPT:Non-Exempt

     

    VICE** **PRESIDENT: Vice President of Facilities and Auxiliary Services

    GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE** **FUNCTION

    This position oversees the facilities at Eagle Ridge Conference Center and is the supervisor for housemen and housekeeping staff.

    QUALIFICATIONS** **REQUIREMENTS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Experience in Industrial Maintenance

     

    Experience in Hotel / Hospitality Industry or Similar Industry

    EDUCATION AND/OR** **EXPERIENCE

    High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.

     

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** , include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.

     

    Maintain inventory for cleaning supplies, linens and hotel/meeting space supplies

     

    Order supplies as needed for guestrooms and meeting space

     

    Maintain inventory of audiovisual equipment and all classroom furniture for meeting space

     

    Work with housemen staff to insure that building is clean and set up for meetings and events

     

    Perform minor repairs throughout the building that includes working on toilets, painting and wall repairs, fixing or replacement of lock system for guestrooms and electronic equipment.

     

    Assists with cleaning and maintenance of 20+ offices located throughout the building

     

    Make sure that all public areas including restrooms are cleaned on a regular basis

     

    Responsible for scheduling housemen and housekeeping staff on a weekly basis

     

    Performs supervisory duties including time approval and leave requests using the WorkDay System

     

    Work closely with the director to make sure all shifts Monday through Sunday are staffed appropriately

     

    Works with clients to insure all of their needs are met before, during and after their event

    SUPERVISORY** **RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Will directly supervise all housemen and housekeeping staff

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, taste and smell. The employee is frequently required to sit.

     

    The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

     

    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the employee is occasionally required to perform job responsibilities in the outdoors and off site.
