GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Physician Promotion Specialist is an integral member of the Physician Engagement team and is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of multi-channel marketing tactics to meet business objectives related to physician and practice growth, patient acquisition, revenue generation, awareness and reputation-building efforts as well as other key business objectives. The Physician Promotion Specialist position requires autonomous execution of multiple simultaneous tasks. A successful Physician Promotion Specialist will demonstrate a keen attention to detail, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, a preference for collaboration and team-oriented project work. This position reports to the Director Physician Engagement.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Assist in producing multi-channel marketing plans in support of newly onboarded physicians and/or practices, including execution and reporting.
+ Coordinate promotions and communications focused on CME events, supporting attendance and creating awareness amongst the medical group and affiliates including creating timelines of scheduled support, measurement and reporting of results.
+ Manage promotions for increased awareness and usage of third-party physician reputation opportunities amongst the medical group.
+ Support the content gathering and editing process for service line newsletters including ongoing reminders, deadline management, brand alignment and enhanced distribution.
+ Assist in supporting various incoming physician marketing requests from across the health system.
+ Assist with marketing and promotions that support the health system's physician and practice promotion objectives, focused on expanded service utilization through the use of various marketing channels.
+ Manage the creation and distribution of certain consumer collateral produced in support of physicians, practices and services.
+ Support the Director with marketing and promotional initiatives including execution, measurement and reporting.
+ Works with all partners to gather measurement data to demonstrate campaign efficacy, and opportunities for optimization.
+ Collaborate with all colleagues to meet goals and objectives.
+ Coordinate with external business partners (consultants and vendors) for various requests and management of day-to-day operations.
+ Creates, updates and maintains reports including Excel, PowerPoint presentations and Word documents.
+ Ensures brand standards and consistency are maintained for all projects by leveraging templates, playbooks and other standardized resources, and working with internal creative and brand team.
+ Provide copywriting and editing; and writing content as needed.
+ Performs other responsibilities or assignments, as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ BS/BA degree in marketing, web/digital, communications, public relations, advertising, health care management or a related field.
+ Two (2) years of related work experience required; or five (5) years of equivalent work experience required in marketing, web/digital, communications or, public relation in lieu of a degree.
+ Competent in multi-channel integrated marketing and digital communications, along with associated analytics tools.
+ Demonstrated experience and appetite for staying current on the evolving digital marketing landscape (i.e., CRM, social media, SEM, SEO, etc.).
+ Ability to assist in translating a client's business objectives into a comprehensive marketing plan.
+ Possess excellent organizational and project management skills, including prior experience with software application(s) such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint or other business project management apps.
+ Familiarity with data, analytics and metrics, with the ability to identify and summarize key performance indicators.
+ Solid writing skills and the ability to direct, edit and work with Creative Services for the production of promotional tools and materials.
+ Progressive knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
+ Must be guided by a service-oriented approach and value strong internal and external partner relationships, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and consistently representing the division and organization with excellence.
+ Autonomously manages numerous clients and complex issues while knowing when to seek guidance and support from leadership.
+ Strong interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to effectively receive constructive coaching, feedback and education and quickly apply those learnings to improve work and other contributions.
+ Strong writing, communication and presentation skills.
+ Health care experience preferred.
+ Experience using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint required, and project management software preferred.
