    EPAM is seeking a dynamic **AWS Cloud Partner Sales Manager** with expertise in the Energy sector, particularly in Oil & Gas, to join our expanding North American team. This critical go-to-market role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through EPAM’s strategic partnership with AWS, while addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry. The position focuses on delivering high-impact cloud services that enable Energy clients to achieve efficiency, agility, and innovation in their operations as they adapt to industry transformation.

     

    Success in this role requires a proven ability to influence and execute through strong relationships — both within EPAM and across AWS’s partner ecosystem and mutual clients. The ideal candidate brings experience working within the AWS Partner Network at a recognized AWS Consulting Partner and is comfortable navigating complex, cross-functional environments while possessing a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas sector.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and execute targeted AWS sales (sell to, sell through, sell with) strategies tailored to the Energy (Oil & Gas) sector, identifying key industry trends and expanding EPAM’s relationships within the AWS partner ecosystem and Energy clients

    + Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with Energy sector clients, focusing on upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. Play a key role in helping clients modernize their infrastructure, improve productivity, and tackle data and operational challenges

    + Drive new revenue growth and build a robust pipeline of business opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry, leveraging EPAM’s cloud capabilities and AWS services

    + Collaborate with EPAM’s Cloud Marketing team to lead joint marketing initiatives focused on AWS solutions for Energy clients, partnering with internal stakeholders, AWS, and client marketing teams

    + Work closely with AWS to co-create industry-specific go-to-market business strategies that help Oil & Gas clients achieve measurable business outcomes, such as streamlined supply chain operations, predictive maintenance, emission reductions, and real-time data analytics

    + Act as an internal advocate and external liaison, fostering strong relationships between EPAM, AWS partner teams, and Energy clients to deliver high-value solutions

    + Promote EPAM’s cloud capabilities and proven success within the Energy sector to AWS partners, prospects, and shared clients, showcasing case studies and best practices in Oil & Gas digital transformation

    + Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for AWS-related initiatives, staying abreast of AWS product advances, certifications, and opportunities relevant to Energy clients

    + Partner with EPAM Delivery, Business Units, Sales, Partnerships/Alliances, and Executive teams to ensure seamless end-to-end client engagement while addressing the specialized needs of Oil & Gas businesses

    Requirements

    + Energy (Oil & Gas) Expertise: Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, including trends like energy transition, sustainability initiatives, asset management, and digital operations. Experience selling or consulting with Oil & Gas clients on modernizing legacy systems, deploying predictive maintenance, or transitioning to the cloud is highly preferred

    + AWS Partner Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep experience partnering with AWS and navigating its partner ecosystem to position and deliver solutions that align with Energy client objectives

    + Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated success in supporting complex, high-value cloud sales engagements, with a proven track record of selling large-scale, multi-million-dollar technology services programs— especially within the Oil & Gas or Energy sector

    + Technical Acumen in Energy Applications: Familiarity with cloud-native solutions for Energy clients leveraging AWS products like AWS IoT, AWS for Energy, and specialized tools for big data analytics, industrial automation, and compliance management

    + Entrepreneurial Mindset: Operate independently with an entrepreneurial spirit, consistently driving results and aligning strategic initiatives with market needs

    + Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Extensive experience developing industry-specific go-to-market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams and AWS partner executives

    + Relationship Management: Exceptional relationship management and business development skills, with experience working across client, partner, and internal teams

    + Cloud and Digital Transformation Expertise: Strong understanding of enterprise technologies, cloud migration strategies, and the role of digital transformation in streamlining operations and driving new business models for Oil & Gas companies

    This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000. In addition, the details highlighted in this job posting above are a general description of all other expected benefits and compensation for the position.
