The Systems Engineer will have extensive hands\-on experience with storage systems and will be responsible for managing and optimizing storage solutions for enterprise\-level operations\. Additionally, this role will be responsible for an enterprise VTC \(Video Technology Conferencing\) deployment and management\. This role involves ensuring business continuity through replication services, capacity planning, troubleshooting storage connectivity issues, managing the VTC environment, and managing the storage environment to support our critical applications and business processes\.
The selected candidate will closely work with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams\.
\*\*\* This role is onsite, in Littleton, CO, working a "9x80" schedule, with every other Friday off\! \*\*\*
Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Hands\-on experience in current enterprise level NetApp SAN/NAS storage design, networking, configuration, capacity management, troubleshooting and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems
• Hands\-on experience architecting, deploying and managing Voice & Video Teleconferencing Solutions
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Telepresence Management System
• Experience with RackTop/Bricstor distributed disk storage system\.
• Experience with enterprise class storage hardware including RackTop, Dell, Pure, HP, or NetApp\.
• Advanced understanding of storage protocols such as NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe\.
• Proficiency in technical writing and documentation of solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundaries
• Self\-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
• Capable of building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
Desired Skills:
• Strong IT skills in infrastructure, applications & hardening systems
• Server platforms and virtualization such as VMware ESXi
• Linux systems administration, e\.g\. CentOS, Ubuntu, or Red Hat
• Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting
• Experience with Risk Management Framework \(RMF\) Requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide \(STIG\) Implementation
• Experience w/ Virtualization \(i\.e\., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, vRealize, NSX, vSAN or VXRail\)

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 \- $184,115\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
