**Description:** This position is with our Advanced

Development Program \(ADP\), known as the

historic Skunk Works, in Marietta, GA We are looking for world\-class talent for this position to join

the 75\+ year tradition of creating advanced

aircraft\. The candidate will join an ADP effort

as a Systems Engineer\. Candidate must be able

to concurrently handle multiple and widely

varying assignments simultaneously in a fast

paced, ever changing environment\. Must have

the ability to work independently as well as

being a team player and willing to support

other team members on a proactive basis in

any capacity needed\. Must engage

professionally and effectively with senior

management\. Must be able to successfully

meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline\.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require

a government security clearance\. This position

is located at a facility that requires special access\.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Utilize systems engineering skills such as technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk management, and configuration control at the system level\.

• Oversee and track change requests, ensuring proper approvals and closure while maintaining communication with internal teams and external customers\.

• Provide guidance on process execution while leading process development and improvement initiatives\.

• Collaborate across integrated product teams \(IPTs\) and present findings to leadership and stakeholders\.

• Support program phases, balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical field or equivalent experience/combined education

• Experience leading systems engineering team

• Experience in Mission Systems \(MS\) system

design and development

• Rhapsody, DOORS and/or Cameo

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work with different engineering

disciplines to derive and decompose

requirements

• Experience executing in a digital engineering

environment \(i\.e\., MBSE and digital twin\)

• Work experience with operational modeling

tools

• Experience developing a system architecture

• Experience using software tools \(such as MS

Excel , JIRA and Access\)

• Experience with systems engineering

processes

• Good written and verbal communication with

experience in writing requirements

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
