Floating Security Officer** **- Full Time

**Location:** Mainly Middlesex and Essex County - client sites vary

**Schedule:** Must have flexible availability to work all 3 shifts, any day of week for scheduling purposes. This is a full-time, 40+ hours.

**Pay Rate:** $22-24/hr depending on experience

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and highly flexible **Security Officer** to join our team. The ideal candidate must be available to work **any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)** on **any day of the week, including weekends and holidays** , based on operational needs. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security and safety of people and property.

+ Monitor surveillance systems and access points to detect and respond to suspicious activity.

+ Enforce site rules, regulations, and procedures in a professional manner.

+ Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; write accurate and detailed incident reports.

+ Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.

+ Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials and monitoring entries/exits.

+ Support other security officers and site operations as needed, including providing coverage for open shifts.

Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ Personal vehicle with a clean driving record preferred

+ Ability to work all three shifts (morning, evening, overnight) and any day of the week, including weekends and holidays

+ Strong communication and observational skills

+ Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role

+ CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications

+ Basic computer literacy for report writing and system monitoring
