Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a Surface Warfare Analyst with operational combat system experience supporting the U.S. Navy specializing in Surface Ship Combat Systems and their operational employment. The successful candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to think creatively and solve problems as well as collaborate effectively with senior government and military staff with little supervision.

Required Qualifications:

+ Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO), Chief Warrant Officer (CWO), or Senior Enlisted (E6-E9) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active duty experience

+ Must have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat System

+ Knowledge in Shipboard and Shorebased Training Systems

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen, possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*

Desired, but not required:

+ Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas:

+ Complete a tour of duty on an Aegis Surface Combatant

+ Completion of ship deployment in support of strike group operations

+ Test and Evaluation experience

+ Background with the employment of the Combined IAMD/ASW Trainer (CIAT)

+ Navy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS)

*Maintaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves periodic comprehensive background checks. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
