Job Title: Construction Project Manager

About the Role: AutoZone is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of construction projects in alignment with our contracts, policies, procedures, and standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring that AutoZone's programs are effectively utilized to optimize performance and maintain high standards of quality, cost, schedule, safety, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

+ Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously.

+ Make critical decisions daily in a fast-paced, high-volume construction environment.

+ Travel to various sites to perform inspections, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

+ Maintain daily reporting and communication on key project metrics and challenges.

+ Keep up-to-date with project financials and schedules.

Quality Assurance:

+ Conduct site inspections for all projects.

+ Confirm adherence to AutoZone specifications and standards on-site.

+ Verify dimensions and elevations as per Construction Documents.

+ Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA 30 safety regulations.

Experience and Qualifications:

+ 4-7 years of experience in construction project management.

+ Proven experience in negotiating and facilitating change order requests.

+ Strong history of adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

+ Retail industry knowledge is highly desirable.

+ Ability to travel 3 days per week.

+ Demonstrated experience in coaching and influencing contractors to achieve desired results.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

+ PMP Certification preferred.

+ OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong decision-making skills to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities and policies.

+ Effective time management, conflict management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
