    We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Database Developer** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage SAFe Agile methodology, SQL Developer, Jira, GitLab, and possess a Security+ certification to support our production systems. This role emphasizes database management, analysis, troubleshooting, and solutioning to ensure optimal performance and security of our database environments.

    Opportunity:

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions.

    + Utilize SAFe Agile practices to deliver high-quality database features and enhancements.

    + Ensure the security and integrity of database systems through best practices and Security+ certification.

    + Contribute to the continuous improvement of database performance and reliability.

    + Mentor junior developers and share expertise in Oracle database technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    + Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle database schemas and structures.

    + Implement and manage database security protocols in compliance with Security+ standards.

    + Perform thorough database analysis to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries.

    + Utilize SQL Developer for database scripting, automation, and performance tuning.

    + Manage database changes using GitLab/GitHub for version control and collaboration.

    + Track and manage database-related tasks and projects in Jira.

    + Conduct regular database health checks and troubleshooting to ensure system stability.

    + Maintain comprehensive database documentation.- Develop and ma

    + Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.-

    + Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions seamlessly.

    + Perform database backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery planning.

    + Stay current with Oracle database updates, patches, and new features.

    + Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    + Contribute to the development of database standards, guidelines, and best practices.

    + The migration of databases to new environments or platforms as needed.- Assist in

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer.

    + Proven experience with SAFe Agile methodology.

    + Proficiency in SQL Developer for database scripting and management.

    + Experience with Jira for task and project management.

    + Strong understanding of GitLab for version control and collaboration.

    + Security+ certification or equivalent.

    + In-depth knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning.

    + Experience with database security practices and compliance.

    + Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Desired:

    + Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    + Certification in Oracle Database Administration (OCP) or equivalent.

    + Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).

    + Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

    + Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $90,300-$189,600
