Your Impactful Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Clinical Outcomes and Analytics Associate to support the Clinical Data and Outcomes Manager. This role involves managing patient-reported outcomes (PROs), supporting research efforts, and conducting clinical data quality analytics across the clinical department. Ideal candidates will have foundational skills in business intelligence tools, Excel, and clinical research processes. The associate will assist with data validation, dashboard creation, EMR template maintenance, and research support—playing a crucial role in helping our organization make data-informed clinical and operational decisions.
Responsibilities:
+ Collect, manage, validate, and analyze clinical and patient-reported outcomes data to support quality improvement, compliance, and research efforts.
+ Build and maintain dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize clinical trends and operational insights.
+ Format and visualize Excel datasets, utilizing pivot tables, conditional formatting, and clear report layouts.
+ Customize and maintain clinical templates within the Athena EMR to enhance documentation consistency and clinical workflow.
+ Write or modify basic HTML for web-based data presentations across the clinical department.
+ Support research activities, including data extraction, basic statistical analysis, and preparation of abstracts or manuscripts.
+ Monitor Electronic Data Capture (EDC) compliance and survey completion in platforms like PatientIQ.
+ Communicate with patients as needed to support the completion of PRO surveys.
+ Respond to ad hoc data requests and troubleshoot data/reporting issues for clinical and research teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
+ This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
+ Basic understanding of clinical research design and healthcare datasets.
+ Previous experience with outcomes data, EDC systems, or research coordination is preferred.
Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formatting, formulas, pivot tables, and visual presentation.
+ Ability to write and edit basic HTML (e.g., formatting tables, headers, links).
+ Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
+ Familiarity with Athena or other EHR platforms is preferred.
+ Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is advantageous but not required.

Employees frequently must move all extremities through a full range of motion and stoop or bend at a 90-degree angle. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
