    Continuous Improvement Specialist. This role is critical in driving and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives across our organization. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, lead problem-solving efforts, and implement best practices to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

    What you will be responsible for:

    + Continuous Improvement Initiatives

    + Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects.

    + Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.-Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.

    + Data Analysis and Reporting:-Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.-Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality improvement efforts.-Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make recommendations for further improvements.

    + Training and Development:-Provide training and support for staff on continuous improvement tools and techniques.-Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.-Develop and deliver training materials on quality improvement methodologies.

    + Cross-functional Collaboration:-Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment on continuous improvement initiatives.-Participate in cross-functional teams to address challenges and improve overall product delivery.-Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    What you will need to be successful in this role:

    + Preferred bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or continuous improvement roles.

    + Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)

    + Skills:-Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.-Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.-Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel)-Proficiency in PowerPoint

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

    Compensation:

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $27.15 to $33.68 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
