    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in evaluating labor-related cost inputs, conducting deep data analysis, providing actionable recommendations that influence our ability to win and retain contracts. This position also assists with the administeration of annual merit and bonus programs and contributes to ongoing compensation initiatives and daily activities. Job duties include:

    Data Gathering & Analysis

    + Collect and validate compensation-related data for current and proposed contracts.

    + Review and interpret internal and external labor market data to ensure fair, cost-effective pay structures aligned with market conditions.

    + Gather insights on local labor, trends, competitors, and their potential impact on contract pricing or renewal strategies.

    + Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and proactively resolve them.

    + Gain a complete understanding of the costs associated with the implementation and execution of new business.

    Contract Bidding Support

    + Provide compensation cost modeling and labor rate recommendations for RFPs and contract bids.

    + Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, HR, Operations) to understand bid requirements and identify compensation-related risks or opportunities.

    + Prepare and present data summaries that guide and inform the contract bidding process.

    Tools & Systems Utilization

    + Use compensation tools, HRIS platforms, and data visualization software (e.g., Excel) to identify trends and build scalable models.

    + Leverage salary survey databases and benchmarking tools to support market competitiveness.

    Strategic Input & Recommendations

    + Translate complex data into clear recommendations that align with both customer expectations and internal cost models.

    + Offer insights on labor trends, overtime costs, and any potential impacts which could affect contract pricing or renewal strategies.

    + Document assumptions and the rationale behind all compensation components used in proposals.

    Accountability & Continuous Improvement

    + Maintain responsibility for compensation data accuracy in customer bids—errors that contribute to lost contracts will be reviewed and addressed.

    + Continuously refine compensation models and bidding practices based on lessons learned and feedback from internal stakeholders.

    YOUR MUST HAVES:

    + Must be 18 years of age or older.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.

    + 3–5 years of experience in compensation analysis, pricing analytics, or contract bidding support.

    + Advanced Excel skills required; experience with data analytics platforms strongly preferred.

    + Strong knowledge of compensation principles, wage regulations, and labor cost modeling.

    + Demonstrated ability to ask the right questions, think critically, and solve problems using data.

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into business insight.

    + Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments.

    WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

    + Masters degree or certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional).

    OUR ENVIRONMENT:

    This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
