• Maintenance Technician

    A Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs with the building's inhabitants.     _Note: The hourly rate for this position is $32 - $36 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.     Responsibilities:

    + Fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring

    + Inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards

    + Scheduling major repairs with the building's inhabitants

    + Ensuring machinery, equipment, and structures are in proper working order

    + Performing preventative Maintenace and tests on systems and components

    Qualifications:

    + OSHA-10 Certification preferred (we offer complimentary training if needed)

    + Ability to efficiently bend pipe

    + Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

    + Must own tools of the trade

    + Reliable transportation to get to and from multiple locations

    + Electrical Technician Certification is preferred or Journey Level California License
