Job Summary:

We are hiring a Cloud & Middleware Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to transformation of enterprise application infrastructure from on-premise to private cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. The role requires strong containerization knowledge, DevOps automation skills, and in-depth experience managing complex middleware environments.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead administration and performance tuning of WebSphere and Tomcat servers.

+ Architect and manage Linux (RHEL) and OpenShift clusters for high availability.

+ Design and manage Docker container images with appropriate configurations.

+ Write and optimize YAML/JSON files for deployments, services, and autoscaling.

+ Manage PVs, PVCs, Secrets, ConfigMaps, resource quotas, and service routing.

+ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and automation scripts.

+ Handle code deployments, rollbacks, and troubleshooting in live environments.

+ Integrate application and infrastructure monitoring, patching, and security compliance.

+ Work with persistent storage (block/NAS) and database integrations (Oracle, MS SQL).

+ Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and lead DevOps best practices.

Required Skills:

+ Strong expertise in Docker (image creation, layers, volumes, entrypoints, etc.).

+ Advanced YAML/JSON editing for infrastructure and application definitions.

+ In-depth knowledge of container resource management (CPU/memory), PV/PVC, secrets, deployments, and services.

+ Hands-on with CI/CD tools, scripting (Shell, Python, Ruby), and DevOps automation.

+ Proven experience in hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or private cloud).

+ Sound understanding of infrastructure components — storage, networking, databases.

+ Experience in code deployment strategies, rollback plans, and system recovery.

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry

+ Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

+ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$76,560.00 - $106,840.00
