Emerson is actively seeking a versatile and experienced Global Inventory Manager who is passionate about driving growth. As a Global Inventory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading inventory policy and process development across our organization, ensuring the implementation of invocative analysis to drive effective inventory replenishment strategies and optimization initiatives. You will work closely with Finance and Site Leaders to establish targets for each site and ensure their successful execution. The position will be an integral part of the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) organization. The ideal candidate would have experience owning inventory and bring a strategic mindset.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
+ Globally implement and improve inventory management processes and tools for all of Flow Measurement Products and world areas to achieve desired service level and financial targets.
+ Evaluate and assess current inventory practices, collaborate with functional team under a matrix structure (Finance, Operation, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Care …etc.) and lead continuous improvement changes across the organization.
+ Engage with global SIOP functions to optimize the balance between supply and demand to improve inventory velocity; leading cross-functional teams and passionate about optimizing inventory levels throughout the global supply network to support sales plans.
+ Identification and creation of standardized dashboards and metrics for supervising various aspects of inventory, both in term of quantity and value.
+ Support the development of business intelligence infrastructure for inventory management. Actively participate in the creation and implementation of process controls including data analytics, to support business goals.
+ Development of standardized global policies for inventory reporting, master data management, inventory level settings, and replenishment methods. Work with SIOP to develop a long-term vision of inventory management.
+ Collaborate cross functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and the Supply Chain teams to influence coordinated plans for new product introduction forecasts, product obsolescence and large project opportunities to drive improved inventory outcomes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in an analytical subject area, finances, business, Supply Chain or related field
+ Minimum five years' proven experience in Inventory Management from Finance, Supply Chain, Operations Planning perspective, preferably in a high mix/low volume environment
+ Knowledge on inventory management and planning
+ Advanced analytical skills and experience working with large data sets
+ Effective presentation and communication skills
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
+ APICS / ASCM or equivalent certification preferred
+ Good understanding of SIOP processes and the role of inventory planning within SIOP
+ Organizational Change Leadership experience in a heavily matrixed organization
+ MBA is helpful
+ Travel expectations up to 10%
+ Experience with Oracle Suite preferred
+ Business acumen and knowledge in finances

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is **$92,300- $126,500** annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
