    _We have openings available on the Afternoon shift or Overnight shift only._

    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    This position is not remote; attendance in-person onsite each workday required.

     

    Responsible for performing the Patient Access process, completing accurate registration and pre-registration process and insurance verification for eligibility, coordinating multiple services in proper sequence, and informing patient/doctor's office as to preparations and insurance requirements for each service.

     

    Collaborates with multiple departments to best utilize equipment and facilities, while accommodating physician preference and patient needs.

     

    Displays a courteous, professional manner, proactively developing customer relationships and giving high priority to customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    Ability to commute to our location in Livonia at Levan & Five Mile Road.

     

    High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Associate degree preferred. Data entry skills (50-60 keystrokes per minutes).

     

    6+ months within a physician office, hospital or clinic environment, performing registration activities or an insurance company, performing payer activities are highly desired but not required.
