This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to work as a Community Based Services Office Support Specialist in Cambridge, MN. This position exists to coordinate and support the operations of Community Based Services; develop, implement and monitor effective workflow systems, monitor expenditures, and provide administrative support/services to leadership and CBS staff. This position includes a wide range of activities to ensure that services and program deadlines are met according to established guidelines, rules, and statutes. The incumbent is expected to research and respond to issues that may have no immediate solutions within established procedures and guidelines. This position supports all divisions within CBS but focuses on Minnesota State Operated Services (MSOCS) Medical & Clinical Services with ensuring compliance as well as managing the Cambridge office.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Support CBS Cambridge office which would include but not limited to: creating a welcoming environment, scheduling, supply ordering, and office equipment and onsite support.
+ Provide administrative assistance to the CBS Medical/Clinical leadership including but not limited to supporting the clinical staff (RNs, and providers), data entry in electronic health record(s), reports, and effective communication as the liaison within CBS Medical/Clinical Services.
+ Support CBS supervisors and managers with scheduling employees; this position will serve as the CBS application administrator for our schedule software for the CBS Cambridge office
+ Support CBS leadership with meeting technical support and meeting minutes
+ Support in regional Length of Service event planning.
+ Provide clerical services to leadership throughout DCT/CBS as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Must possess a valid driver's license as required for the assigned work as position requires use of state vehicle.
+ Customer Services skill sufficient to provide information to CBS staff, individuals, public, including phone calls, emails and walk-in contacts in helpful and courteous manner.
+ Data Entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in databases.
+ English Language skills sufficient to write, speak, and/or read to compose correspondence with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation; and to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and the general public.
+ Math skills sufficient to add, subtract, divide, calculate averages.
+ Spreadsheets skills sufficient to develop and modify basic spreadsheets, sort and extract data.
+ Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports, letters, email and data summaries.
+ Word processing skills sufficient to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports; perform mail merges, develop forms and charts.
Preferred Qualifications

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Access, Excel, & PowerPoint)

+ Working Knowledge of the electronic health record (EHR) system (Avatar)
