Summary The incumbent provides comprehensive technical support for all CMOP automated equipment systems, such as automatic and semi-automatic packaging systems, automatic repackaging equipment, tote and puck conveyor systems, tablet counting and unit of use dispensing equipment, and production related computer systems. Responsibilities Major Duties: Troubleshoot equipment problems and take proper corrective action to restore the device to its fully operational level. Evaluate corrective actions for cost effectiveness. Evaluates the CMOP system and subsystems to determine what test and calibration equipment is required. Advise and consult with facility manager in equipment matters pertaining to selection, installation, or modification of equipment. Knowledge of programming, operation and troubleshooting of all programmable logic controllers (PLS's) as well as all input/output (I/O) devices. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Requires working in unusual positions while assembling and disassembling equipment and tedious bench work while working on electronic assemblies. Education Additional Information Receiving Service Credit or Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
