Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Secret Mid Network Engineer local to San Diego, CA. This person will be fully onsite and responsible for maintaining the existing network infrastructure, implementing changes as needed, and assisting in the configuration of enhancements based on customer requirements. It is expected that this person be comfortable working with numerous technologies. The ideal candidate will have come from an aeronautics background and have a strong proficiency in routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.

Skills and Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- 2-4 years of relevant experience working on DoD networks
- Experience with network configuration, architecture, and maintenance
- Experience with configuration and management of Palo Alto network technologies
- Active certification such as Sec+, CASP, or CISSP
- Professional networking certification such as Network +, CCNA, or CCNP
- Understanding of network device configuration and protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSP
- Experience with layers 1 and 2 of the OSI Model - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience working on aircraft/aeronautic networks
- Experience migrating from rhel 7 to rhel 9 null
