    What You’ll Do

    As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll:

    + **Drive Strategy & Performance** : Lead the Commercial Lines Department through its managers, optimizing underwriting systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    + **Foster Agency Success** : Cultivate strong agency relationships and support agents in maintaining profitable books of business.

    + **Champion Profitability & Growth** : Ensure competitive, high-performing products across all lines of business to drive sustainable growth.

    + **Develop Talent** : Oversee hiring, training, and career development for department staff, building a high-performing, future-ready team.

    + **Represent & Collaborate** : Serve as the department’s voice across internal teams, external partners, and industry forums.

    What You Bring

    + **Education & Experience** : Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus. 9+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in underwriting.

    + **Expertise** : Deep knowledge of commercial lines underwriting, rate setting, class plan development, premium audit, and product innovation.

    + **Leadership** : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and manage complex operations.
