    Job Description

    South Florida's leading healthcare system is seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in Python and Java, along with hands-on experience with Cerner and Epic EHR systems. This role involves developing scalable and maintainable backend applications to enhance clinical operations, integration workflows, and automation processes, without engaging in data migration tasks. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with clinical stakeholders and passionate about writing clean code, implementing modern DevOps practices, and advancing healthcare technology. There will be cloud exposure in the role, so having a previous understanding or working on cloud projects with any platform is a plus.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of experience in Python software development, with a focus on backend services or integration tools.

    Practical experience with:

    Cerner Rules Engine

     

    MPages (JavaScript/HTML)

    CCL

    Understanding of Cerner & Epic EHR, including FHIR APIs, Interconnect, or general module workflows.

     

    Experience with RESTful API development, clinical data structures (FHIR, HL7), and application security.

     

    Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Bachelors' Degree null
