    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer. This person will be joining a product development team, working on a robotic and automation fluid dispensing product. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for defining, designing, testing, documenting, and releasing new products. A successful Senior Electrical Engineer will use sound engineering principles to develop products that meet or exceed our product requirements ensuring our new products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards for new products that deliver overall value and performance for our customers. In addition, the Senior Electrical Engineer will support programs designing new to market products, some ad hoc customer requests and projects, as well as reviewing obsolete parts, performing relayout of boards and schematics, and working with 3rd party vendors to offload as needed. The team is looking for an innovative, collaborative Sr. Engineer to support continued growth and development of their products and customer needs. This is a full-time direct hire role, and must sit onsite 5 days a week in Carlsbad, CA.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -BS in Electrical Engineering, with minimum of 6+ years of experience or equivalent relevant experience

     

    -Altium designer experience or equivalent is required (Ie: Autocad, Solidworks, Autodesk etc.)

     

    -Experience with sensors, measuring devices, control systems, and automation

     

    -Strong collaborator and communicator, ability to share ideas, and take feedback

     

    -Phase-gate & project management experience

     

    -Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system, ie: SAP -Experience developing & launching new products

     

    -Experience with customer interactions and factory visits is a plus. null
