Job Description
Insight global is looking for a certified medical assistant to support an family medicine clinic in Vista, CA. This person must have an active Medical Assistant Certification, CPR certification from the American Heart Association, and a high school diploma. The client is seeking a dynamic candidate who excels at multitasking, brings high energy, and demonstrates a friendly and compassionate demeanor towards patients. During the week, this individual will work 2 days with family medicine and 3 days in pediatrics, so they must be comfortable administering immunizations to infants and young children. The family clinic involves rooming and triaging approximately 17 patients per day and the pediatric clinic involves rooming and triaging approximately 12 patients per day. They will not be assigned to a single provider. Initially, the candidate may also assist with answering phone calls. This practice is currently utilizing EPIC EMR system.

Skills and Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Certified Medical Assistant program - Pediatric experience (preferably 6 months)
- EPIC experience null
