Job Description

An aircraft manufacturing company in the Huntsville area is looking for an electrical assembler to help support their production floor.

This person will:

- Assemble electrical and electronic components on printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, power supplies, and other electrical assemblies/subassemblies.

- Cut wire to specified lengths using wire cutters or other equipment

- Cut plastic sleeves and slip sleeves over wire ends to insulate connectors

- Crimp terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends using hand or machine crimping device

- Route, combs, twists, wraps, ties and attaches wire to terminal points, according to specified board layout using soldering gun and hand tools

- Read work orders, blueprints and specifications to determine established assembly method

- May attach eyelets, terminals, mounting studs, additional wires, breakers and accessory assemblies as prescribed

Skills and Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

1-6 years of experience in electrical assembly or a manufacturing environment null
