• Entry Level Warehouse Associate

    Dearing Compressor (Youngstown, OH)


    Summary

    Employee is responsible for cleaning responsibilities as specified by warehouse manager. Employee will maintain and submit a record of hours worked. Provide minor maintenance and repair of facility equipment, including but not limited to painting, maintenance of landscaping, etc. as necessary to maintain a safe and aesthetic appearance.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:

     

    + Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

    + Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing

    + Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

    + Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel

    + Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed

    + Grass and tree/shrub trimming, weeding, clean up, etc.

     

    This role may offer opportunities for cross-training in various departments. Potential responsibilities could include:

     

    + Operates fork truck, powered pallet jack, manual pallet jack, dolly, etc., to move material throughout warehouse

    + Marks materials with identifying information as needed

    + Conveys and puts away parts in the appropriate locations within the warehouse shelves, bins, racks in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code, etc.

    + Reads and interprets pick tickets, locates and picks parts, and distributes them within the facility or prepares them for outbound shipment as needed

    Education and/ or Experience

    + Six months to one-year of related experience and/or training
