    Job Description

    General Summary:

    Works under general supervision and provides highly advanced administrative support to the Associate AD of Business & Administration. Provides assistance to athletic support staff and coaches.

     

    *This position is commensurate based on education and experience. The pay range is $16.02 -$20.00*

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist the Associate AD of Business with daily workflow and day-to-day operations of the athletic administration office.

    + Coordinating the management of files, records, office supplies, and equipment.

    + Oversee the minimum HR responsibilities of Graduate Assistants.

    + Liaison for all travel questions for the athletic department.

    + Includes auditing credit card travel receipts to ensure that they are compliant with NCAA and State rules and regulations.

    + Provides aid to the Associate AD of Corporate Relations by entering signed contracts into QuickBooks, sending invoices to Corporate Partners, and booking receivables.

    + Entry Contact for the Athletic Administration office.

    + Greet guests, answer phone calls, and assist the Director of Ticket Operations with ticket sales in the office.

    + Provides administrative support to all athletic administration staff.

    Necessary Qualifications:

    + High School diploma

    + Five (5) years of office experience

    + Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

    + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work in a high-stress environment.

    + Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

    + Ability to work independently once given a project.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Ten (10) years of office experience.

    + Knowledge of QuickBooks.
