    We are currently seeking a Cyber Subject Matter Expert/Instructor to join our team in Quantico, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

     

    Cyber Subject Matter Expert/Instructor

     

    The Cyber Subject Matter Expert/Instructor requires an individual that is well-recognized for mastery of hardware, software, firmware, scientific, and engineering techniques and theories gained through wide experience or specialized development. This individual demonstrates expertise in Open Source, Social Media or similar online investigative including experience in using cryptocurrencies and the darknet. Able to take complex, technical topics and break down to basic blocks of instruction to ensure students’ understanding.

    Job Duties:

    + Identify, evaluate, and specify system architecture and high-level design

    + Provide advice and counsel to project and senior management through broad technical specialization of scientific theory and principles

    + Provide expertise on technical matters on an as-needed basis to all task assignments

    + Liaise with industry and field experts to ensure up-to-date online investigative methods and tools are demonstrated in the training environments.

    + Provide training to staff and students in cyber, online investigative techniques, tools and applications, and digital forensics from basic to advanced levels.

    + Develop and revises technical and non-technical training courses and prepares appropriate training materials utilizing approved instructional development methodologies.

    + Review all TR cyber-related hand-outs and published content for accuracy and assists in the maintaining of SharePoint, website, or other resources

    Basic Qualifications:

    + MS/MA in Information Technology Management, Business, task order specific discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    + Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

    + Minimum 10 years of relevant experience to include:

    + Providing lesson plan updates, development, redesign, and review

    + Providing instruction to students and staff, including peer-to-peer training, train the trainer and student instruction

    + Providing feedback on curriculum through collection of student surveys, observation of training/instructors, and recommendations for areas of improvement

    + Research and implementation of computer based tools in support of complex investigations
