    The Sales Business Partner, BU IRS (InflatableRestraintSystems) will represent Sales within the IRS Business Unit and provide a clearly accountable interface from the globally organized Sales Teams into the IRS Business Unit.

     

    + Position will represent a single point ‘two-way window’ between the Business Unit leadership team and the global sales/commercial/planning group and vice versa, and specifically acts as a focal point to drive BU input and support of customers and product growth strategies.

    + Contribute to and support the execution of customer, product and commercial strategies and management within the BU on behalf of the global Sales and Business development function.

    Your Tasks:

    + Drive activities to support the sales plan - work closely with Sales teams, Portfolio and Market Planning and actively contributes to OP/SP planning.

    + Report progress and results to management

    + Voice of sales for OPR, PST, IRS global staff meetings.

    + Present sales information at business update meetings.

    + Market pricing guidance - in alignment with Portfolio to ensure profitability for IRS.

    + Ensures a go-to-market strategy and explicit selling-propositions are developed

    + Mentoring and coaching jr. sales teams - globally.

    + Drives CQA preparation and alignment of quote & price strategy across regions & account teams; Also check for accuracy.

    + Participate in pre-CQA reviews, CQA approval meetings and management reviews.

    + Analyze CQA date across customers/programs and highlight potential synergies.

    + Customer Correspondence - Work with Legal to compile letters needed for IRS specific customer communication, such as claims, company changes and Force Majeures.

    + Customer Recovery

    + Responsible for the Tier 1 Seating Companies production.

    + Commercial truck account management

    + All regional customer prototype and Mesa inflator orders.

    + Required Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.

    + Requires 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the automotive industry.

    + Strong understanding of customer needs with excellent negotiation skills required.

    + Experience in working in a global, cross-functional organizational structure.​ Proactive cooperation to work with a wide variety of functions/individuals within and across the organization at all levels; internally and externally.

    + Ability to juggle competing demands and adapt to different situations. Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meet immediate or short-lead time deadlines.

    + Thinks strategically and considers the long-term view.

    + Be able to work in a high dynamic organization and to work under pressure. Team player as part of a global sales team.

    + Strong in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

    + Solid leadership, analytical, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

    + Winning mentality and persuasion skills as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism.

    + Energetic, responsive team player who is keen to take initiatives.

    + Proactive, organized, and accuracy with attention to detail.

    + Professional communications skills both verbally and in writing.

    + Fluency in English required

    + Domestic/International travel required on an as needed basis.
