About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our Princeton headquarters, playing

a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting process.

As a Staff Accountant, you will support the month-end and year-end close processes,

manage journal entries, and reconcile accounts in alignment with GAAP standards. This

is an in-person role, five days a week, offering the opportunity to work closely with

ISMG’s Controller and collaborate cross-functionally with the Finance, Operations, and

HR teams.

NetSuite experience is a must, as our financial systems and reporting workflows are

heavily dependent on the platform.

Responsibilities

+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met.

+ Prepare, post, and maintain accurate journal entries, including accruals, amortizations, and prepaid expenses.

+ Conduct detailed general ledger account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany balances.

+ Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and proper formatting.

+ Collaborate with the Controller to maintain audit-ready documentation, financial schedules, and supporting records.

+ Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and support implementation of accounting best practices.

+ Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in day-to-day accounting operations.

+ Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to various departments as needed.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

+ 2–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or media environment.

+ Proficiency with NetSuite ERP is a must.

+ Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

+ Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort with cloud-based financial systems.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Details:

+ The base salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000.

+ Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

+ On-site presence required M-F.
