Within Devices & Services, we are reinventing the Alexa customer experience by creating the next-generation of AI-based technology that will radically change how people live and work. At the center of that transformation is Alexa+, the new Alexa experience that is smarter, more capable, and more conversational.
Our Alexa & Echo Go-to-Market team leads the launch strategy for Alexa+, including the positioning, messaging strategy, and rollout motion. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team that includes product, finance, PR, site merchandising, and creative design to define, develop, and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive awareness and maximize conversion of Alexa+ globally.
The successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically: from the creation of plans, to the brass tacks of execution. She or he will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. You must have the ability to quickly formulate plans that are deeply backed by data and execute across many work functions simultaneously.
Key job responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Own global product marketing and go-to-market for specific Alexa+ initiatives
2. Ideate, develop, and execute unique partner marketing initiatives
3. Develop cross-channel branding and messaging strategies, and ensure execution consistency
4. Drive cross-functional go-to-market discussions and actions through launch
5. Work with the research team to identify, scope, and execute qualitative and quantitative research
6. Use data to ensure the voice of the customer is present in product and marketing decisions, and measure channel and sales effectiveness
7. Conduct business and financial analysis regularly to improve the business
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
