Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Oakland, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers a dynamic role combining bookkeeping expertise with office management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small business environment and be comfortable with occasional travel to Vacaville.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and prepare financial data to support the offsite bookkeeping and accounting team.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Reconcile payroll and vendor payments, including verifying invoices for discrepancies.

• Track and reconcile daily credit and cash transactions to ensure smooth close-outs.

• Assist with inventory control and operational tasks to maintain efficiency.

• Oversee office procedures and support general administrative functions.

• Coordinate maintenance and vendor services, such as scheduling repairs or service calls.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and financial accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including proficiency with QuickBooks.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.

• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously.

• Experience in inventory control or restaurant operations is a plus.

• Willingness to travel to Vacaville occasionally, as required.

• Comfortable working in a small business environment with a hands-on approach.
