Description
We are looking for an Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Stoughton, Massachusetts. This role involves handling complex business litigation matters, with a focus on delivering strategic and effective solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in civil litigation and a dedication to providing exceptional legal representation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage intricate business litigation cases, guiding them from initiation to resolution with a focus on precision and strategy.
• Represent clients in Massachusetts Superior Court and other civil proceedings, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
• Draft, review, and refine legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conduct thorough legal research and oversee discovery processes, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
• Collaborate with clients to provide tailored legal advice and develop litigation strategies aligned with their objectives.
• Address occasional commercial real estate matters, including contract reviews, lease disputes, and transactional issues.
• Ensure adherence to legal standards, court rules, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of case management.
• Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions to secure favorable results for clients.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments, including changes in case law and statutes, to inform litigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal team members, such as paralegals and support staff, to maintain efficient case workflows.
Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized law school.
• Active membership in the Massachusetts Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience handling business litigation cases, particularly in Massachusetts Superior Court.
• Comprehensive knowledge of civil procedure, discovery rules, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate matters is advantageous.
• Strong skills in legal writing, research, and oral advocacy.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services with a client-focused approach.
