Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a mission-driven organization in Largo, Florida. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make an impact managing financial operations for grant-funded properties, including Section 8 housing. Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial activities for assigned properties, including grant-funded and Section 8 housing.

• Forecast cash requirements and manage banking operations, wire transfers, and cash investments.

• Prepare and review financial documents such as revenue reports, expense statements, payroll entries, and invoices.

• Perform month-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

• Maintain fixed asset depreciation schedules and handle year-end financial documentation.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports while analyzing financial trends to support decision-making.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for the organization.

• Utilize Yardi and Excel for financial reporting and operational tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Yardi software and advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables.

• Strong understanding of full-scope accounting, including payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience with account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Familiarity with general ledger operations and journal entries.

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Prior experience in government or grant-funded accounting is preferred.
