Description We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will oversee the administration and optimization of enterprise IT systems, ensuring seamless operation across physical servers, storage solutions, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments. This role requires a proactive approach to system management, security, and compliance, as well as the ability to contribute to strategic IT initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain physical servers, including Dell and Nutanix hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Administer enterprise storage solutions such as Dell PowerScale and Pure Storage to support organizational data needs.

• Oversee hyperconverged infrastructure platforms, including Dell vxRail and Nutanix, to streamline operations.

• Implement and manage virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi, Nutanix, and Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Configure and secure networking equipment, including Fortinet and SonicWall firewalls, switches, and wireless systems.

• Monitor and manage endpoint security tools like SentinelOne and CrowdStrike to protect organizational assets.

• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions using platforms such as Rubrik, Cohesity, and Druva.

• Administer Windows Server environments, including failover clustering, and manage Linux systems such as Ubuntu and Debian.

• Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure and ensure integration with on-premises systems.

• Handle Microsoft 365 tools, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and EntraID, to support productivity and collaboration. Requirements • Proven experience in managing enterprise IT systems, including servers, storage solutions, and virtualization platforms.

• Strong knowledge of networking equipment, firewalls, and endpoint security tools.

• Expertise in administering Windows and Linux systems, as well as cloud platforms like Azure.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange and SharePoint.

• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools such as Rubrik and Cohesity.

• Proficiency in relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system incidents while documenting solutions effectively.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
