Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting Manager and contribute to the efficient operation of the Accounts Receivable and Finance department. This opportunity offers a collaborative and detail-focused environment where you can leverage your expertise in accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
• Process daily cash postings and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Perform reconciliations for individual postings and batches to maintain data integrity.
• Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Address chargebacks promptly to minimize revenue adjustments.
• Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely payments and reduce delinquencies.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve collection outcomes.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX to manage accounts receivable tasks efficiently.
• Prepare and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance billing and cash application processes.
• Handle foreign invoices with attention to detail and compliance requirements. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles.
• High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP), Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable and general accounting procedures.
• Experience working with foreign invoices is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Dynamics AX is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
