Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Marietta, Georgia. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute their accounting expertise to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage cost, revenue, and inventory transactions while maintaining precise financial records.

• Utilize Sage Intacct software for data entry, reconciliation, and financial analysis.

• Perform inventory management tasks, including reporting and reconciliation, with attention to detail.

• Apply advanced Excel skills, such as pivot tables and data manipulation, to analyze and format financial data.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and principles in all financial operations.

• Support month-end closings, audits, and other recurring accounting activities.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate entries.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting with a solid understanding of general ledger processes.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct software is strongly preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data manipulation techniques.

• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Inventory management experience is a plus but not required.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
