Description

Robert Half is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Loan Closer to join our client in Dublin, Ohio, within the financial services industry. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to the loan closing process by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely preparation of loan documents. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and investors.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and gather any missing information required to complete loan files accurately.

• Collaborate with customers and investors to address inquiries and ensure smooth communication throughout the loan closing process.

• Prepare and finalize loan documents with precision, maintaining compliance with industry standards.

• Release loans in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary documentation has been reviewed and approved.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data and perform essential calculations required for loan processing.

• Work within Encompass to maintain and update loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor and track loan progress to meet deadlines and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure all procedures align with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Support the team with administrative tasks related to loan origination and processing.

Requirements • Proven experience in mortgage closing or loan processing within the financial services industry.

• Familiarity with loan origination systems, including Encompass.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes.

• Strong understanding of mortgage processing and loan documentation requirements.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, investors, and team members.

• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to loan origination and closing.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
