Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Maitland, Florida. In this role, you will manage essential accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic CPA firm by utilizing your expertise in bookkeeping and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle comprehensive accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Maintain precise financial records using double-entry bookkeeping methods.

• Utilize financial software, such as QuickBooks, to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

• Prepare and submit payroll tax returns and sales tax filings in compliance with regulations.

• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial transactions.

• Generate detailed financial reports to support business operations and decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to address accounting challenges and optimize processes. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in financial software, particularly QuickBooks.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Solid communication skills for collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
