Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Glendale Heights, Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial transactions and collaborating with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Enter invoices into accounting systems while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Perform 3-way match reconciliation to ensure invoices align with purchase orders and receipts.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.

• Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including documentation and filing.

• Review accounts payable aging reports and resolve outstanding issues to maintain positive vendor relationships.

• Support month-end closing activities and assist with audit preparation.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing accounts payable operations.

• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP or other relevant tools.

• Ability to perform precise data entry and conduct 3-way match reconciliations.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume workloads.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance regulations.

• Adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
