Description We are looking for a detail-oriented FC Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Coral Springs, Florida. This role involves key accounting functions such as managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and performing bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple general ledger accounts and possess a solid understanding of financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting of transactions.

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports.

• Work with multiple general ledger accounts to ensure proper documentation and accounting.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting tasks.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Maintain organized records and documentation to support financial audits.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of preparing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with managing multiple general ledger accounts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
