    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced service industry environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing high-volume invoice processing and demonstrate expertise in maintaining accurate records and reconciling accounts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle full-cycle accounts payable activities, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.

    • Ensure daily operational processes are completed on time while adhering to company policies and procedures.

    • Support internal stakeholders with accurate and timely financial data.

    • Provide administrative support to the AP and Finance departments as needed.

    • Assist in preparing for and conducting internal and external audits.

    • Organize, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents to maintain proper records.

    • Distribute department mail and ensure correspondence is handled efficiently.

    • Process checks accurately, including special handling requests.

    • Reconcile sub-ledger accounts with the general ledger to maintain financial accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience with high-volume accounts payable processing.

    • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

    • Proficiency in handling check processing and ACH transactions.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.

    • Ability to work with spreadsheets and database systems effectively.

    • Knowledge of expense management tools such as Concur and HCM SaaS Oracle Fusion.

    • Demonstrated customer service skills in a financial or technical environment.
