    We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Auditing Clerk (Assistant) to join our team in Barstow, California. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting audit processes, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.     Responsibilities:

    • Assist in reviewing financial statements, invoices, ledgers, and other records to support audit processes.

    • Participate in fieldwork by traveling to client locations to conduct on-site audits.

    • Analyze financial data using tools like Microsoft Excel, preparing reconciliations and audit worksheets.

    • Compile detailed reports based on audit findings to ensure clarity and accuracy.

    • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards during all audit activities.

    • Collaborate with team members and clients to address audit-related inquiries and provide clear communication.

    • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word and PowerPoint, to create and present audit documents.

    • Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities found during audits.

    • Support operational audits by reviewing procedures and suggesting improvements where necessary.

    Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing or a related field.

     

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    • Strong skills in legal writing and tax audits.

    • Knowledge of operational audit functions and processes.

    • Ability to prepare clear and concise audit reports.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data.

    • Willingness to travel for on-site audits as required.
