Our client is a thriving organization known for its exceptional leadership, innovative approach, and ability to nurture a collaborative work environment. The company is currently seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role offers an opportunity to expand your accounting expertise while contributing to a dynamic and growing organization.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

+ Handle day-to-day accounting functions, such as journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

+ Prepare account reconciliations (bank, credit card, etc.) and manage variance analysis to ensure accuracy in financial records.

+ Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparing adjusting entries and supporting schedules.

+ Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections.

+ Collaborate with management to support budgeting and forecasting processes by preparing relevant financial statements and reports.

+ Prepare schedules and provide support for internal and external audits.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP) and help address tax filings or regulatory submissions as needed.

+ Identify opportunities for process streamlining and automation to improve accounting workflows.

Requirements

+ A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience. Industry experience in property management, finance, or nonprofit is ideal

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Candidates pursuing CPA certification will be given preference.

+ Strong familiarity with accounting software such as ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Sage Intacct). Experience with QuickBooks or industry-specific tools like Yardi is a plus.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data modeling, and advanced formulas.

+ In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards and widely used accounting principles.

+ Honed attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
