Description We are looking for a skilled Public Staff Tax Accountant to join our team in Fall River, Massachusetts. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering a unique opportunity for professionals seeking long-term career growth. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax preparation, corporate tax returns, and individual tax filings, and will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Handle tax filings for corporate partnerships, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

• Assist with individual tax return preparation, providing guidance and support when needed.

• Manage corporate business returns, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related issues and provide solutions.

• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

• Conduct research and analysis to support complex tax scenarios.

• Maintain organized records of tax filings and related documentation for auditing purposes.

• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to clarify tax requirements and address concerns. Requirements • Proven experience in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.

• Strong knowledge of corporate partnerships and business tax filings.

• Familiarity with tax preparation software and tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
