Description

We are seeking a Marketing Analyst to research market conditions and identify opportunities for product or service growth. This role focuses on analyzing trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to support informed business decisions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

+ Forecast and track marketing and sales trends by analyzing collected data.

+ Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies; collaborate with marketing professionals and data specialists.

+ Develop and evaluate methods for collecting data (e.g., surveys, opinion polls, questionnaires) or leverage existing data sources.

+ Gather and analyze competitor data, including pricing, sales, and marketing/distribution methods.

+ Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication strategies.

+ Recommend and implement processes for identifying advertising needs.

+ Oversee survey design and guide trained interviewers.

Skills

+ Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

+ Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services.

+ Familiarity with media production, communication, and distribution techniques.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ 5–7 years of relevant experience in market research or marketing analytics.

This position is fully remote, but must sit in California.
