Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex litigation efforts and provide high-level legal research and support to lead counsel. Ideal candidates should be adaptable and ready to make an immediate impact in a dynamic legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed legal research to support litigation strategies and case development.

• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with lead counsel to prepare for court proceedings and hearings.

• Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations to the team.

• Assist in managing case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to gather necessary information for cases.

• Support discovery processes, including reviewing and organizing relevant materials.

• Provide guidance and expertise in contract negotiations and dispute resolution.

• Stay updated on legal trends and precedents relevant to the firm's practice areas.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout case handling. Requirements • Licensed attorney with prior experience in complex litigation.

• Proven ability to work on contract law matters and handle related legal documentation.

• Strong research and analytical skills to address intricate legal challenges.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with discovery processes and litigation procedures.

• High level of organization and attention to detail.

• Ability to adapt to varying schedules and meet tight deadlines when necessary.
