Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Glendora, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting mutual fund administration and client servicing tasks, ensuring compliance and accuracy across various financial processes. This opportunity is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills in finance and accounting within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor mutual fund holdings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the 1940 Act and prospectus disclosures.

• Assist in preparing monthly liquidity reports and maintaining fair valuation records.

• Review and provide essential information for fund registration statements and ensure accuracy.

• Prepare income estimates and memos related to fund distributions.

• Analyze statistical data and verify fund factsheets for accuracy before submission.

• Compile and organize reports for board meetings and presentations.

• Coordinate and file proxy voting information on Form N-PX with regulatory authorities.

• Manage startup tasks for new funds, including obtaining required identifiers and registering funds with industry organizations.

• Collaborate on special projects to enhance operational efficiency and meet client needs. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey clear and concise information.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

• Knowledge of mutual funds, registration statements, and accounts receivable/payable processes is preferred.
