Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring billing accuracy and efficiency within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of billing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain billing spreadsheets in compliance with established procedures.

• Locate necessary information and compile supporting materials for analysis and reporting.

• Input and verify billing data within computer systems to ensure accuracy.

• Address and resolve non-routine billing challenges while escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel.

• Prepare and issue billing statements and outstanding invoices promptly.

• Assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects related to billing operations.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize billing processes and improve efficiencies.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines during all billing activities.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or related functions.

• Proficiency in managing billing systems and computerized billing processes.

• Ability to reconcile accounts across multiple systems with attention to detail.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.

• Proficient in using spreadsheets and computer systems for billing tasks.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
