    Description Payroll Administration:

    • Manage and administer weekly payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages. Ensures accurate employee work hours, all deductions, and taxes.

    • Resolve all payroll discrepancies and adjustments, like issuing refunds or collecting underpayments as needed.

    • Address employee inquires related to payroll, including but not limited to creating final termination checks, W-2, reversals, re-issues, and stop payments.

    • Ensure timely payroll processing of payments such as bonuses, severance, and stock options.

    • Ensuring union contract compliance in managing payouts regarding vacation, sick and holidays.

    • Handle all garnishments, tax levy, and child support.

    • Maintaining accuracy and integrity with employee/payroll records: keeping detailed records of employee hours, wages, and deductions in ADP/HRIS system.

    • Process temporary employee hours and coordinating with staffing agencies.

    • Update and handle all union and non-union deductions for employees.

    • Ensure ADP timekeeping system is working efficiently.

    Reporting & Audits:

    • Provide reporting to finance department.

    • Manage all reporting and tracking of recruitment efforts.

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting as required. Including but not limited to W-2 administration.

    • Maintain necessary data for reporting ACA reporting as needed.

    • Produce reports from ADP/HRIS, payroll, and LMS system for senior management as needed.

    • Actively assist during HR audits.

    • Actively assist during finance audits.

    Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment efforts, by sourcing candidates, screening, reporting, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the selection process for temporary and direct full-time employees.

    • Aid in recruitment of all open positions including internal/external postings.

    • Foster professional relationships with staffing agencies, assist in contract negotiation and compliance as needed.

    • Collaborate with staffing agencies to fill job openings, as needed.

    • Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and proper orientation as required.

    • Ensure new hires have onboarding work equipment assigned like FOBs, badges, and keys.

    • Create and maintaining employee records: keeping detailed records of employee personal, tax, emergency, health benefits, medical, training and performance information.

    Event Coordination:

    • Lead in planning and executing employee engagement activities and company events with manager.

    • Assist in organizing team-building exercises, recognition programs, and industry-related conferences or seminars with manager.

    • Coordinate and purchase supplies for events and company engagement effort.

    • Support all employee and potential vendor engagement efforts.

    • Support all company lunch catering events with or without clients.

    Benefits Administration:

    • Resolve benefit discrepancies and address employees inquires related to all benefit offerings as needed. This may involve working third party administrators.

    • Provide manager support with open enrollment, tracking and managing benefit changes as required.

    • Provide leave of absence information and documentation to employees when required.

    • A point of contact for all benefits information when required.
