    We are seeking a proactive and experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our client"s team in Park City, UT. This role plays a key part in optimizing complex manufacturing processes and maintaining the highest quality standards in support of aerospace production. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in machining environments, expertise in PPAP and advanced quality tools, and a strong background in continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Collaborate across operations, engineering, inspection, and shop floor teams to improve product flow, reduce waste, and support delivery of high-quality components

    * Apply Lean manufacturing principles and advanced quality methods (PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, etc.) to identify and implement process improvements

    * Develop and manage manufacturing, assembly, and quality control requirements, ensuring configurations meet both design and regulatory standards

    * Utilize precision measurement and calibration methods to evaluate repeatability, producibility, and process capability

    * Support MRB activity through root cause analysis and dispositioning of nonconforming material; contribute to defect reduction efforts

    * Define manufacturing sequences, create process control plans, and conduct quality and process audits to evaluate system capability

    * Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements; author work instructions and support BOM validation

    * Coordinate change implementation and proactively address design for manufacturability and post-production concerns

    * Contribute technical input for audits, reports, and metrics related to manufacturing and quality performance

    Required Qualifications:

    * Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience

    * 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a strong focus on quality control, RCCA, and process development in machining environments

    * Proficiency in PPAP, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Control Plans, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)

    * Strong knowledge of AS13100, AS9145, GD&T, and aerospace quality standards

    * Experience supporting or participating in MRB processes

    * Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and technical documentation and reporting

    * U.S. Citizenship required due to program requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    * Background in aerospace, automotive, or heavy equipment industries

    * Familiarity with CAD modeling tools such as NX, CATIA, or CREO

    * Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or cost reduction methodologies

     

    Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are 48.00-55.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
